Side Hustles

Side Hustles that Actually Get You Paid

If you have been scrolling instagram and the like looking at ways to make 'passive income' and find it all just a little too good to be true, you are right. There's really no such thing as 'passive income'. At some point, you work for it. A few of these examples are listed below (personal review) and hopefully a bit of help with ones that require a reasonable amount of money for your reasonable effort. NONE of the links below profit me in any way. I know that's crazy considering I also try this stuff, but let's be transparent. I'm not here to hook you, just to inform. Don't believe me? Just hover over a link and you will see it is the main website URL only. Good luck!

1. Side Hustle Stack ★

Side Hustle Stack is a website that claims to be the “ultimate database of earning opportunities.” At the time of this review, the site only has 10 indexed pages on Google, meaning the site doesn’t have much content at all. On the site, you can pick between categories such as Gig Work or Build a Business, and the site gives you different platforms to sign up for. Now there’s nothing wrong with earning a commission from a click, it’s the entire premise behind affiliate marketing. However, starting a side hustle isn’t as simple as signing up for a freelancing platform.

Is Side Hustle Stack Legit? The short answer is yes, Side Hustle Stack isn’t a scam. However, the site provides little value to its users and simply connects visitors to their affiliated partners to earn a commission off their clicks.

2. Shopify ★★

Shopify is one of the best eCommerce platforms where you can create an online store- including a Shopify App store for more mobile versatility. However, it's not easy. Do your homework. It enables pretty much anybody to set up an online store and create a business from their own home.

Shopify is great because they have so many instructional guides to help you through the process and setting it all up. You are able to customize your online store and get it looking really professional. You can try out Shopify free for a 14-day trial but the plans on Shopify aren’t free. Shopify offers 3 store options that you can choose from: Basic Shopify $29/mo, Shopify, Advanced Shopify.

I would not recommend Shopify unless you are already an established experienced business owner.

3. Amazon Affiliate ★★★★

Amazon Affiliates are not the same as "influencers'. Affiliates don't have an Amazon shop, page or channel. Becoming an affiliate is free & links to your existing account. The process is 1. you search for an item (Amazon helps with suggestions) that is selling well, gets high reviews, seasonally appropriate, etc., 2. copy the link provided as an affiliate, 3. create a post (blog, pinterest, etc.) and include the link, 4. promote the post via a website, pinterest page, blog, email list, 5. get paid per purchase for each from your link.

Affiliates must sell 3 items within their first 120 days or they are subject to removal. There is a catch. You can't send the link to your friends. It doesn't work. Somehow Amazon knows who you are linked to on social media. The report will show that someone has made a purchase, but you will not receive an earning from it.

If you already have a following, highlight products, etc. it's fairly easy and doesn't take a lot of time.

4. Surveys ★★★★

It’s possible to get your share of it every day by taking their simple surveys. While it might sound strange, these “market research” surveys are a known way to make extra cash online. Of course, they won’t make you rich … but if you have some extra free time, the money you earn could be enough to cover gas, groceries, coffee, and more. Follow these simple steps.
